- People-pleasing instead of leading. Dimming your light so others don’t feel threatened.
- Chronic self-doubt. Unable to trust your own abilities despite evidence of competence.
- Letting others take credit. Not claiming your contributions because visibility feels too vulnerable.
Recognizing these shadow expressions helps you course-correct when you feel your Queen of Wands energy going off-balance.
Your Challenge This Week
Here’s what I want you to do: identify one area of your life where you’ve been dimming your light.
Maybe it’s at work, where you’ve been holding back ideas because you’re afraid of judgment. Maybe it’s in relationships, where you’ve been hiding parts of yourself to avoid being “too much.” Maybe it’s creatively, where a passion project sits untouched because you don’t feel qualified.
Whatever it is, I want you to take one action this week that the Queen of Wands would take.
- Share the idea in the meeting.
- Show your authentic self on a date.
- Spend an hour on that creative project.
- Wear the outfit that makes you feel powerful.
- Speak up when you normally stay quiet.
- Set a boundary you’ve been avoiding.
You don’t have to transform overnight. The Queen of Wands didn’t become who she is in a single moment. She became confident through thousands of small choices to trust herself.
This week, make one of those choices.
Feel the warmth of your own fire. Notice how it doesn’t burn you or others when it’s expressed with intention. Observe how people respond when you show up fully present.
